for Humanity is an exciting, growing, international not-for-profit organisation
operating in over eighty countries worldwide. The vision of Habitat for
Humanity is a world without shacks, where everyone has a decent place
to live, which they can call home.

Statement
Habitat
for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from
all walks of life, to develop communities with God's people in need by
building houses so that there are decent houses in communities in which
people can live and grow into all that God intended.
HFHG, registered in 1995, dedicated the first 6 houses in 1997. In November 2000 the organisation celebrated its 100th house. And in 2003 the 200th house will be completed.
There are 4 affiliates in Guyana.
